Britain's improve and move hotspots identified
The UK's top ten locations for home movers and property improvers have been identified in a new survey.
According to Yell.com, Norwich is the place where the greatest amount of people are looking to move to, followed by Reading and Cheltenham.
Reading was also the most likely place for people to improve their home, followed by Nottingham and Manchester.
Commenting on the findings, Eddie Cheng, president of Yell.com, said: "Although this analysis is by no means a definitive guide to rising property prices, it provides a revealing indication of possible future movement in the housing market whether it be people actually moving house, or fuelling price rises via home improvement."
Data was provided by analysing the top search terms for moving and home improvement and matching them to the cities.
Peter Bolton King, chief executive of the National Association of Estate Agents added his support to the findings of the top ten hotspots, saying: "Given the amount of movement in the market, confirmed by this analysis, it's safe to predict that prices are set to increase significantly in the near future."
