Manchester property market to improve
Manchester property market will improve in months to come in light of its underlying strength, it has been claimed.
Experts at property firm GVA Grimley have suggested that markets in the north-west of England are performing well compared with other regions, while Manchester has shown particular strength.
Overseas investors have played a played a notable role in keeping Manchester's property markets active since the onset of economic difficulties across the country last year and the outlook for this year remains positive for the city, analysts have indicated.
Bruce Poizer, from the real estate advisor DTZ, told the Manchester Evening News: "The whole of Europe has experienced the fallout from a global squeeze on credit."
"The resulting fall in prices has seen a number of buyers returning to their traditional UK market places."
DTZ counts itself as one of the world's four most prominent property investment advisory businesses and the company has more than 11,000 employees in 45 countries.
