Montenegro 'next up-and-coming market'
Following in the footsteps of Croatia, Montenegro is becoming an important emerging market with a strong possibility for profit, it has been claimed.
According to Paul Collins, property editor for impartial website BuyAssociation, Montenegro's proximity to Croatia has meant that the popularity of Croatia will fuel growth there.
He said investors should consider that when Bulgaria began to become more profitable, so then did the countries surrounding it.
Mr Collins said Montenegro has its own appeals which make it a good investment for overseas property, including "fantastic attractions" like the Bay of Kotor.
The bay is a world heritage site and is surrounded by beautiful towns, he continued.
Mr Collins added: "There are real opportunities for people buying properties there."
According to Montenegro Venture real estate prices in the country remain much lower than in the rest of Europe, yet it has the potential for high rental yields.
