'Now is a good time to invest in the foreign property market'
A meeting of minds at the recent A Place in the Sun Live show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham has revealed a positive time for foreign property investment amid the current UK housing crisis.
Mark Bishop, co-founder of the event, said he was pleased by the turnout to the show, suggesting many of the attendees were those with more than a passing interest in investing overseas.
He described the people there as "the keenest of the keen" in pursuing foreign ventures, with the main theme being whether now is a good time to invest in foreign property market.
Presenter of A Place in the Sun Amanda Lamb described the atmosphere at the show as "great".
Among the event's offerings were exhibitors selling properties and offering advice on the subject of buying property abroad and opportunities to get involved with the TV show as a house-hunter.
Companies present included Buy Association, Monarch Airlines, Spain Magazines and Holidaylettings.co.uk.
In other news, Spanish Hot Properties recently told the website Bye Bye Blighty Mallorca is in possession of the "most stable" property market in Spain.
