Property insurance needs to be considered before a move abroad, urge experts
Property owners looking to spread their investment wings abroad have been offered a number of pieces of advice from experts as to what they need to remember when purchasing overseas property.
The advice ranged from what differing legal trends are at work in various countries around the globe from how to cope with securing adequate property insurance when investing abroad.
Many countries are currently seen as attractive investment opportunities for differing reasons. Countries such as Brazil and Turkey are enjoying booming economies and are seen as attractive because of it.
Certain nations in Europe have seen property prices decline as a result of the eurozone and can be acquired fairly cheaply.
Kimberley Millhouse, senior move manager at Crown Relocations, said: "You will need to sort out your finances and insurance and explore overseas bank accounts, deciding how you will manage your money when abroad.
"Every bit of paperwork must be in order as this is crucial to avoid a last minute hitch."
The eurozone has been predicted to go through more turbulent times in 2012.
