Spain offers "value for money"
The Spanish property market remains popular with many investors as it continues to offer "value for money", according to one expert.
Terry Walker of PropertyInSpain.net claimed that a significant number of people prefer Spain due to its "accessibility, friendly culture and sunshine".
According to the expert, the countrys economy is "sound" compared to that of the UK and it continues to demonstrate growth.
He commented: "This is a long established market and as it remains Europes favourite holiday destination, property investors cannot lose out."
The euro is also at a favourable level and so investors are expected to see a "healthy return", Mr Walker added.
Recent figures produced by the Department of Communities and Local Government revealed that in 2005-06, 34 per cent of British second homes were located in Spain.
This compared with 23 per cent in France, according to the departments research.
