Spanish property 'ideal for all'
The Spanish property market caters to all British buyers, Atlas International has claimed.
According to the established property expert, Spain offers Brits a choice between either living among expatriates or getting "into the Spanish way of life".
A spokesman for the firm noted that many Brits find it comforting to be in the surroundings of other English speakers and that Spain is an ideal destination for such property hunters.
At the same time, however, the country has a hugely diverse demographic and many areas remain almost entirely free of foreign influence, thereby catering for those looking to escape England unconditionally.
"We have two different markets," said James Dearsley, European sales manager for Atlas International. "You have the buyers who want to go there and actually get away from the Brits - they want some peace and quiet."
But at the same time you also have the "I want to go there because I know who my neighbour will be" contingent, Mr Dearsley noted.
Approximately 760,000 British emigrants are currently living in Spain.
