A comparison site for buy to let mortgages has been launched by the Association of Residential Letting Agents (Arla) for landlord property insurance policyholders.
Arla originally announced that it would be introducing the service at its 2010 conference.
The organisation has launched the website in conjunction with its sister products - National Association of Estate Agents Mortgages for residential purchases and Institution of Commercial & Business Agents Mortgages for the commercial property sector.
Landlord property insurance policyholders will be able to enter their details and requirements on the site to find the best mortgage option for their financial situation.
"We've had a wealth of requests from our members to offer this comparison service," commented Ian Potter, operations manager at Arla.
The Treasury is currently conducting a consultation on whether buy to let mortgages should be regulated by the Financial Services Authority in a similar way to the consumer loans market.
