Property owners advised on attractive mortgage deals

Property owners have been advised that there are some extremely attractive mortgage deals available to them should they wish to expand their commercial property portfolio.
According to Catherine Hearnden, director at MyMortgageDirect, there are some very competitive mortgage deals available to people but she also advised that people shouldn't be looking to overstretch themselves.
The money which can be saved on a good mortgage deal can compliment savings made by comparing commercial property insurance quotes but Ms Hearnden advised people not to take one out unless they are ready.
Ms Hearnden said: "With mortgages, for people who can afford them, there are some really good deals out there. If you can't afford it, then I have always taken the view that you shouldn't take it out anyway."
The Bank of England recently reported that lenders had seen demand for secured lending for house purchases fall over the last three months of last year.
