Property owners need to see the light, suggests consultancy
03 Feb 2012
Property owners should be looking to provide good lighting both in and around their buildings according to Natalie Timmerman, spokeswoman for Light IQ.
Ensuring that a property has good lighting can offer plenty of benefits for both landlords, homeowners and tenants, Ms Timmerman said, with a well-positioned light near the front door valuable.
As well as having strong benefits when it comes to helping you see your way around a property, removing the need to fumble for keys in the dark, it can also prove an invaluable asset when it comes to property security.
Ms Timmerman said: "It is highly important that a light source is available at the front door in the correct position, firstly to see your way in, and secondly to prevent unwanted callers attempting to enter your property."
Light IQ is an independent lighting consultancy which supplies lighting schemes for residential and commercial properties.
