Small business owners urged to lease commercial vans
11 Jan 2012
The money that small business and vehicle fleet owners could by comparing commercial insurance quotes should be added to by leasing commercial vans.
Toby Poston, head of communications at the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA), believes that small businesses can benefit from leasing commercial vans because of their convenient weekly or even daily payments.
This sort of setup can suit businesses, according to Mr Poston, because it can free up cash flow which could be spent elsewhere in the business, on investment or paying debts for example.
Mr Poston said: "One of the key advantages of renting or leasing a van is the ability to fix costs. For a low monthly, weekly or daily payment - you get the use of a van for an agreed duration or mileage that suits your business."
The BVRLA is the trade body for companies engaged in the leasing and rental of cars and commercial vehicles.
