Different groups seek different houses, landlords told

Landlords have been reminded different markets will require different requirements.
Alan Ward, a director of the Residential Landlords Association, says students will need a washing machine but will probably not wish to run a tumble dryer due to the amount of electricity used.
Broadband connection will be important to students, whereas a dishwasher will probably be paramount to busy professionals, he claims.
Mr Ward suggests shared houses with five people or more will also need two or more bathrooms.
"Safety has to be considered too - fire extinguishers, fire blankets for kitchens and an alarm system are the basics with secure outer doors," he adds.
A recent Residential Rental Price Index found the average price for a rental property was £608 across the whole of the UK in February this year, increasing to £631 in April.
It found rental prices in London were much higher than the rest of the country, at an average of £1,230 in April.
